Afterward, they attended their first classes in their respective languages. Teachers discussed the Language Pledge® and the value of immersive language learning. The syllabi were introduced today as well. Following classes, students ate lunch and socialized with each other before having some free time.

Students participated in their first session of cultural exploration after lunch, and then proceeded into afternoon activities. Today, we had a "Mini-Olympic" games in the field! Potato sack races, goofy relays, human knots, and many others were on the docket for an action-packed afternoon!

Students had a some more free time after the Mini-Olympics. Now, they are participating in the Language Pledge® Ceremony, where they will sign away the English language and welcome immersive learning for the next few weeks.
