ELL School Solutions

A modular, blended learning approach to English language learning.

Middlebury Interactive’s English Language Learner (ELL) solution for schools is designed as a supplemental blending learning program to solve multiple classroom needs. Our ELL curriculum is aligned with ELPA21, Common Core, Expeditionary Learning, and correlated with WIDA. Lessons focus on academic English and literacy development, while engaging students through a combination of individualized task-based activities and collaborative project-based learning. Each unit provides opportunities for students to learn about the cultures of their classmates, as well as share their own experiences.

The flexibility of the modular structure allows teachers to supplement and scaffold ELL and core content curriculum, while helping English Language Learners to better prepare for upper grade levels and beyond. Middlebury Interactive offers extensive professional development to support school teachers with a successful implementation of our ELL curriculum modules—and completion of professional development training prior to launch is a key component of our implementation process.
